"I need to talk to you," he told me in a stony voice.

"I don't really want to talk to you," I admitted. He stepped in front of me.

"It wasn't a question," he scowled.

I looked around at the crowded hallway.

"And, what are you going to do? Hurt me? In front of all these people?"

He leaned forward into my face. "You wouldn't want any harm to come to Kimmy, would you?"

"Don't you threaten her," I snarled.

"Then come with me." He placed his hand on my back and pushed me forward. Gritting my teeth I went with him. We ended up in an empty hall. He opened a door to a darkened classroom and pushed me in. Spinning to face him as he shut the door, he quickly grabbed my throat pushing me into the wall. I dug my nails into his hand.

"Your arrogant little mouth is starting to annoy me," he commented in a hard voice. Releasing me he placed his hands on either side of my head and leaned forward.

"Kiss my ass, Eien. What do you want? I'm supposed to be in Oliver's class. He isn't going to be happy if I show up late."

"Your little lap dog can wait."

"Oliver is not a lap dog. Were you ever actually apart of the gang or have you been a traitor all along?"

He leaned into me, his face a few inches from mine. I tried pressing myself further into the wall, while glaring at him.

  "That's none of your business."

"Tell me what you want already, and get out of my face." I shoved him but he hardly moved.

"I just want to tell you a story," he smirked.

"A story?" I asked incredulously. "Seriously? You threaten Kimmy's life an drag me in here to tell-"

Eien clamped his hand over my mouth. I tried shoving his hand off but he wouldn't budge.

"You really are annoying," he spat. I mentally imagined stabbing him in the face.

"Six years ago, Jason and Oliver were friends. Jason was second in command under Oliver," Eien started. I stopped struggling and stared at him. He removed his hand placing it back on the wall next to me.

"One night they were partying and Jason showed up with a girl. Oliver didn't like it and ordered Jason to take her home. Jason didn't like being ordered around anymore. He told Oliver off. Oliver being the puss-"

"Don't you dare!" I snarled shoving Eien back. "Don't you dare call him that."

Eien grabbed my arms slamming me into the wall.

"Oliver killed someone," he said grabbing my wrists pinning them to the wall. I stopped struggling again.

"Do you want to know why?" Eien smirked. I didn't speak. I honestly didn't know what to say.

"Anyways," Eien continued. "Oliver let it go. Jason fucked the girl that night and Oliver found out the next day, when her older brother showed up. He thought Oliver was the one who did it and they got in a fight. And, you haven't seen Oliver fight," Eien leered. I started to tell him otherwise but he interrupted me.

"And, don't tell me about the tournament. He wasn't even trying then. No, you don't know Oliver as well as you think you do. The real Oliver is vicious. That boy never had a chance. We had to pull him off the guy’s lifeless body. But, he wasn't done. He went after Jason. He almost killed him too. It took four of us to pull him off Jason and by then he wasn't even recognizable," Eien paused watching me.

My mouth was dry and it felt like I had rocks in my stomach. Slowly I shook my head. Oliver could never do anything like that, he wouldn't.

"You better believe it," Eien laughed coldly. "Your little Oliver isn't as great and amazing as you think. If I were you I'd be careful wouldn't want to piss him off. He might kill you too," he added squeezing my wrists hard. Stepping away from me he headed for the door. I rubbed my sore wrists with a deep frown on my face.

He paused and half turned to look back at me, "Oh and Ever. Keep that bit of information to yourself, wouldn’t want Kimmy to get hurt."

Winking he opened the classroom door and disappeared.

My trek across the courtyard was quick. Millions of thoughts, doubts, and questions passed through my head, and before I knew it I was standing outside Oliver's classroom. He had already started roll call. I wasn't that late at least.

Taking a deep breath I entered. Everyone looked up including Oliver. I mouthed 'sorry', he nodded then went back to calling roll with a smile on his face. Class passed in no time, and as everyone was filing out of the room I pretended to take extra-long with my bag.

The last student left and he locked the door. Turning back to me he ushered me toward the back store room. The store room wasn't actually a store room it was a make shift office. Shutting the door behind me he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I missed you," he muttered kissing the side of my head.

"You seen me this morning," I laughed.

"Yeah well, I still missed you."

Turning me around he kissed me gently.

"I love you," he breathed. All my worries melted away instantly.

"I love you too," I smiled placing my forehead to his.

"So, you coming home with me or do you wanna go to your lonely apartment?" He gave a cute pouting face.

"With you of course. Don't you have gang stuff to do though?"

He shrugged, "Nah. Friday we're having another party. The tournament is Saturday but you and I will be in the city then," he smiled kissing my nose.

"You’re not going to the tournament? Aren't you supposed to, since you’re the "boss" and all?"

He shook his head. "I'm all yours this weekend."

There was a knock on the office door.

"Didn't you lock your classroom door?" I muttered. He gave a stiff nod, moving me so I was behind the door, he opened it.

"You two love birds coming or what? You are our ride home you know," Jake said. I poked my head around the door to see him and Logan standing there. Logan had a candy bar sticking out of his mouth.

"Do you ever stop eating?" I asked. Logan grinned revealing a mouth full of chocolate. I made a face.

"Alright come on you two. You can have touchy gooey moments on your vacation this weekend," Jake grinned and turned to head for the door. I looked down at the floor to hide my red face and followed as Oliver wrapped his arm around me.

"When you get a girlfriend I'm going to bust in on you every minute too," Oliver grumbled.

The rest of the week passed incredibly slow, by the time Friday came I excited about the party, but most of all anxious about Oliver and my weekend together, even almost forgetting about my encounter with Eien. I had decided he had told me all that stuff just to try and pull me and Oliver apart, but all the same I told Kimmy to be cautious.

"I wish you would tell me why," she grumbled as we got ready in Oliver's bathroom.

"Kimmy," I started turning to her taking her by her shoulders.

"Trust me, please," I begged. She sighed defeated and turned back to the mirror putting her ear rings in.

"All I'm saying is stay close to Alex and be cautious of your surroundings. Better yet don't be alone...at all," I added. She gave me a side look but didn't say anything.

"So you excited about this weekend with Oliver?" she asked changing the subject. Straightening up, she examined herself. Smoothing out her lacy black dress and running her fingers through her hair.

"I'm kind of nervous actually," I told her finishing my eyeliner and doing the same. My hair was up in a high pony tail and I had curled the ends. My dress was black to, corset fit, strapless and flared out at the bottom with my knee high boots. I was actually pleased with how I looked.

"Well here." Kimmy opened her purse she pulled out a pair of red fluffy hand cuffs. My jaw dropped.

"Kimmy!" I squeaked in utter embarrassment.

"It'll make your sex life interesting, trust me," she winked.

"S...sex life? What sex life?! I'm a virgin!" I shook my head my face heating up quickly.

She looked dumfounded. "You two haven't done it yet?"

"That is what me still being a virgin means!"
<
br />   "Hmm," she began thoughtfully. "Then you'll need this too," she added pulling a tub of lubricant out of her purse. I almost fainted. Turning around, I bolted out of the bathroom.

"Ever!" she called, chasing me down stairs and into the living room.

  "Everlyn Ann Fox," Kimmy scolded.

"You are horrible!" I told her mortified.

"Well this is new. Usually Ever is chasing people down," Jake mused.

"You look like a tomato. What did she do to you?" Alex laughed.

I shook my head. There was no way I was telling him. Hopefully Kimmy will let it drop. Problem is...I know Kimmy to well.

"I'm trying to help her and she won't listen," Kimmy frowned.

"I don't want to hear it! No offense but I don't want to talk about that stuff!" I told her hiding behind Oliver now who was chuckling.

She crossed her arms. "Well when it comes time for that to happen, you won't know what to do. I'm helping you," she insisted.

"The hell you are! I think when that time comes I'll figure it out with a certain someone on my own, thank you very much."

  "Ever!" Kimmy appeased.

  "Kimmy!" I yelled back accusingly.

"Logan!" Logan exclaimed happily. The guys laughed but Kimmy and I glared at him.

"What are you two talking about anyways?" Jet asked.

"Nothing," I replied the same time Kimmy said, "Sex."

My face went even darker than before, if that was possible.

"It's none of your business!" I exclaimed.

"Wow," Jake laughed. "At least we found out the one thing Ever will run away from."

  "Shut up, Jake!"

"Why are you talking to her about...sex?" Jet asked disgusted at the fact that his little sister even knew what the word meant.

Don't answer that," Oliver spoke as Kimmy opened her mouth.

"Kimmy, I understand now where you’re going with this. Ever and I will...you know talk about this when the time comes. All you’re doing is making her embarrassed. Actually, I think she might faint if you keep on," he laughed wrapping his arm around me.

"Dude!" Alex said. “You two haven't done it?"

"I think it's time to go now!" I announced.

"Ever, is a virgin still," Kimmy told Alex casually.

"Thank you, Kimmy!! Can we stop talking about sex now?!"

"Wait, you two have?" Jet asked addressing Kimmy and Alex.

  "Err..." Alex started looking guilty.

"I'm not a baby," Kimmy frowned.

"You’re still our baby sister," Tyler said stepping away from the wall. I was shocked to hear him talk.

"Would you rather me be with Alex or some guy you don't know?" Kimmy asked. Tyler and Jet looked at Alex and shrugged.

"Yeah I guess your right but yuck," Jet gagged.

I swayed to the beat of the music, the rhythm pulsing in my head, as my body moved to the beat. How I loved dancing. I loved the feeling of Oliver's hands on my waist. My head was clouded and I felt slightly dizzy as the alcohol in my veins made my body heat up. Money honey filled my ears and I spun around grabbing Oliver's waist. He smirked as he twirled me out and pulled me back to him. I twisted my hips into his.

"That's money honey, when touch me it's so delicious," I sang softly into his ear, grabbing his hips and pulling him closer if it was even possible. He chuckled.

"You’re drunk," he muttered, gently pulling me away.

"I know," I muttered. I knew I wouldn't be acting this way if I wasn't. Ignoring that thought I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. He laughed softly again pulling me away.

"Save that for later," he grinned.

"Why?" I frowned going in to kiss him again. He held me away from him.

"Because Bunny, there are people around," he whispered in my ear. I grinned at the use of his nickname for me. He pulled me close into his chest and we swayed back and forth.

All of the sudden there was yelling over the music, turning in the direction of the commotion I seen two guy’s fist fighting with a blonde girl standing in the middle of them. I laughed as another girl ran over and took the blonde down to the ground.

  Oliver groaned, "I'll be back."

Kissing my head he headed over to break up the fight. Still laughing at the scene before me I stumbled toward the bar area. Tyler and Jet were making drinks while Jake was leaning against the wall beside them with a girl on each arm.

"Hey Jake!" I exclaimed plopping down on a stool behind Jet, who handed me a bottle of water.

  "You’re wasted," he chuckled.

"Nah-ah," I stuck my tongue at him.

  "Yes-huh," Jake laughed.

"Jaky?" One of the girls pouted. Her skin was tanned to the point she could pass as a leather bag, and her bleached hair did not make her look as pretty as she thought she was. Her skirt was barely covering anything and she wore a tube top that might have been a head band.

"Who is she?" she whined. "I thought you were going to show me your car?"

"No, he was going to show me," the other glared. She was no better. Where she might not be tanned as much as the other she had dark brown hair with blonde underneath. Her leather pants and top were so tight they might as well be an extra skin. No telling what disease lay on the other side of those pants.

"Ladies, I'll show you both," Jake smiled then winked at me.

I gagged, which caused Jet to laugh. Both girls turned to me.

"Who are you anyways?" the burnt toast girl asked in a snotty voice, throwing her nose up in the air like a pig. I laughed at the thought of hearing her oink.

"Don't ignore me," she screeched her voice like nails on a chalkboard.

I looked at her grinning, "So where did you get those?" I asked, pointing at her boob job.

  She looked shocked. "I...uh."

"Doesn't matter," I waved my hand dismissively. "Though, I would get my money back. He did a horrible job, they're lopsided."

She gasp in horror and started looking down.

"OH WAIT!" I exclaimed trying not to laugh. She looked back up quickly.

"There it is!" I shouted pointing at the floor. She spun around and scanned the floor with a look of sheer horror on her face.

Jake, Jet, Tyler and anyone else who was near burst out laughing hysterically. The girl turned as red as a tomato and it wasn't from embarrassment.

"Jake! Are you going to let this..." she looked me up at down. "Little brat, talk to me like that?" She demanded.

Jake scoffed, "Please I'd choose Ever over you any day." Jake smiled at me.

The girl gave a shriek and turned on her heels storming away with everyone laughing and pointing after her.

"Jake?" the other girl asked tracing circles on his chest. I looked around Jake at her and scrunched up my nose.

"Jeez, Jake you sure know how to choose them. Have you had yourself checked for aids?" I asked looking up at him. He started laughing so hard he began coughing. The girl glared at me; tossing her hair over her shoulder she followed the other bimbo through the crowd.

"Dang Ever, with you around I'm never going to get laid," Jake commented staring after the girl, shaking his head.

"Think of it as saving you. I'm sure they had some incurable disease," I grinned patting his arm. He warped his arm around me and pulled me into his side his body vibrating from laughter. The movement suddenly turned my stomach over.

"I'm going to be sick," I spoke before bolting through the crowd.

I reached the back door and knew I'd never make it up stairs in time. Throwing the door open I stepped out the fresh air hitting me and I retched my guts up holding my hair back as I did. After I had finally stopped I stayed kneeling there a moment catching my breath. I was almost completely sober now. My throat burnt and my stomach felt as if it had rocks in it.

"That looks fun," someone commented behind me. I shot up instantly and jumped away careful not to step in the putrid waste on the ground. Eien smirked at my reaction.

"What are you doing out here?
" I asked but my voice didn't come off as strong as I hoped.

I stumbled a little clearly not as sober as I thought I was. Eien started walking forward his face suddenly a blank mask. I stumbled back and tripped over my own feet falling to the ground. He stopped looming over me. He knelt down and I tried backing up more but he grabbed my arms stopping me.

"Just wanted to remind you before you go off on your little trip with Oliver," he smirked. I shoved at him but he grabbed my chin hard making me look at him.

"Keep your mouth shut about what I told you. Do you understand?"

I clenched my jaw like a stubborn child, not about to speak to him. He squeezed my face, a whimper left my lips before I could stop it.

"Do. You. Understand." he growled. I tried to speak but he was holding my face to tight I couldn't open my mouth. So I tried nodding my head bobbed only an inch, but it was enough for him. He slung me away from him into the dirt. My head hit the dirt slightly hard than I expected, though the alcohol clouding my mind and physical reaction time didn't help. A headache spread from the back of my skull to the front making little dots dance in my vision.

"Ever!" I heard Oliver's alarmed voice ring in my ears. He ran to my side lifting my body into his arms. I groaned as the movement shot more pain through my head.

"Open your eyes," Oliver demanded. I did slowly blinking a few times.

"Don't ever let me drink again," I muttered. He chuckled softly looking relieved.

"How did you end up on the ground? Jake said you ran off ten minutes ago talking about being sick but you weren't in the bathroom."

"I didn't make it," I told him. He lifted me up and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I see that," he muttered, I could image him wrinkling his nose in disgust clearly seeing where I had spilled my guts.

  "I'm assuming you tripped."

That smirk I'm sure planted firmly on his face.

"Yeah," I muttered...it wasn't exactly a lie. Guilt spread through me. My heart clenched at the thought of lying to him. It didn't last long as I slipped into unconsciousness.
